Liberty Park is the focal point of the park system and a highlight of our community. The pavilion features a large covered area with a fireplace, kitchen and rest rooms. This is the "happening" place in Batesville during the months of March - October. There is a baseball complex (known all over Southeastern Indiana), tennis court, horseshoe pits, volleyball court and a large playground.

Parks and Recreation Board Meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month. Meetings begin at 7:00 PM in the 1st floor conference room of the Memorial Building.
